## About this wine

Weingut Allram is a family estate located in Straß im Straßertale in Austria's Kamptal region, currently managed by fourth-generation winemakers Lorenz Haas-Allram and Magdalena Haas. This signature village wine (Ortswein) represents a cross-selection of the distinct village soils surrounding Strass, combining loess richness with the laser-sharp minerality of primary bedrock and limestone.

## Interesting facts

- This wine is Weingut Allram's signature village bestseller, affectionately called their evergreen.
- Grown on limestone-rich soils, combining primary rock, loess, and gravel for distinctive minerality.
- Sealed under a screw cap to maintain crisp acidity and vibrant fruit aromas.

## Food pairing

The vibrant acidity and subtle white pepper notes cut through fried or rich meats like Wiener Schnitzel and balance delicate citrus and herbal components in Asian dishes and seafood.

## Wine making process

The Grüner Veltliner grapes are hand-harvested from steep terraced and gently sloped vineyards. Fermentation occurs in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks at 19°C using natural ambient yeasts. The wine undergoes extended fine lees aging in stainless steel tanks without oak intervention to preserve freshness, vitality, and aromatic purity.
