## About this wine

Arrogant Frog was launched in 2005 by winemaker Jean-Claude Mas of Domaines Paul Mas, based in the Languedoc region of Southern France. The brand playfully pokes fun at the traditional British nickname for the French while challenging traditional wine snobbery. Embodying the concept of 'Luxe Rural' (Everyday Luxury), Arrogant Frog focuses on crafting accessible, Mediterranean-style wines that combine classic French terroir with bright, modern fruit purity.

## Interesting facts

- The brand humorously parodies French wine snobbery with its beret-wearing frog mascot.
- Harvesting occurs exclusively at night to preserve high natural acidity and fresh fruit flavors.
- The wine earned a Gold Medal at the prestigious Mundus Vini Spring Tasting competition.

## Food pairing

This vibrant white wine pairs brilliantly with seafood and lightly spiced dishes. Its bright acidity cuts through light richness, while its expressive fruity and floral character complements garlic, fresh herbs, and soft spice profiles.

## Wine making process

Grapes are mechanically harvested exclusively at night to protect the fruit from oxidation and preserve natural acidity under the warm Mediterranean sun. In the cellar, the grapes undergo pneumatic pressing followed by cold juice settling at 6 to 10°C. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats at 15 to 18°C. A portion of the wine is aged on fine lees with subtle oak maturation to enhance texture and aromatics.
