## Food pairing

The robust tannins and full body of this Barolo are well-suited to rich, protein-heavy dishes. The wine's structure can stand up to the intensity of red meats and game, while its complexity can complement earthy flavors like mushrooms and truffles. The wine's minerality can also cut through the richness of fatty dishes.

## Wine making process

The Vietti Barolo Lazzarito 2020 is produced through alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks for about three weeks, employing the submerged-cap method with regular pumping over and cold pre- and post-fermentation maceration. Malolactic fermentation is conducted in wood. Following fermentation, the wine is aged for approximately 30 months in large casks. The grapes are sourced from the Lazzarito vineyard in Serralunga d'Alba.
