## About this wine

Bevi was established by a former IT specialist who pivoted to wine importing and low-intervention winemaking across Italy. Situated near the historic castle town of Roncade in the Piave area of Veneto, this project focuses on high-conviviality, accessible wines. Presented in a 1-Liter screw-cap bottle, this orange wine represents a modern, eco-conscious approach to traditional Italian skin-contact winemaking.

## Interesting facts

- Made with Sauvignon Kretos, a PIWI grape variety that reduces chemical treatments in the vineyard by up to 70%.
- Founded by a former IT specialist who turned wine importer to create clean, low-intervention Italian wines.
- Packaged in a 1-Liter screw-cap format meant specifically for casual, everyday sharing.

## Food pairing

The mild tannic structure from skin maceration coupled with bright acidity allows this orange wine to cut through rich fats while harmonizing with aromatic spices, grilled vegetables, and savory umami dishes.

## Wine making process

Organically farmed using fungus-resistant PIWI hybrid grapes, primarily Sauvignon Kretos, which cut required vineyard treatments significantly. The grapes undergo skin maceration in stainless steel tanks for 7 to 14 days using minimal intervention. The wine is aged entirely in stainless steel to preserve its fresh fruit profile and pure mineral expression before being bottled with a screw cap.
