## About this wine

Champagne Ouriet-Pâture is a third-generation family estate established in 1958 and based in the Grand Cru village of Ambonnay in the Montagne de Reims. Managing around six hectares of prime Grand Cru vineyards, the estate crafts boutique Champagnes alongside supplying grapes to prestigious Champagne houses. The 2019 vintage Blanc de Blancs single-vintage bottling is dedicated as Cuvée Ginette.

## Interesting facts

- Ambonnay is renowned for Pinot Noir, making a 100% Chardonnay Blanc de Blancs from this Grand Cru village exceptionally rare.
- Champagne Ouriet-Pâture sells a portion of its high-quality Grand Cru harvest to top prestige houses, including Krug.
- The 2019 single-vintage Blanc de Blancs release is dedicated as Cuvée Ginette.

## Food pairing

The high natural acidity and mineral precision of this Blanc de Blancs Champagne cut through rich, delicate seafood fats while complementing salty, oceanic flavors. High acid and fine effervescence act as an effective palate cleanser for rich, sweet shellfish.

## Wine making process

Harvested entirely by hand from Grand Cru plots in Ambonnay and the Côte des Blancs, the Chardonnay grapes undergo fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats to preserve purity and freshness. Following the secondary fermentation in the bottle according to traditional Méthode Champenoise, the wine is aged on fine lees in deep underground cellars for at least 36 months before disgorgement.
