## About this wine

The Az. Agr. Talenti Brunello di Montalcino 2019 is a 100% Sangiovese wine from the Montalcino DOCG in Tuscany. The estate, a respected family-run winery, is managed by the grandson of founder Pierluigi Talenti, continuing a legacy of careful vineyard management and traditional winemaking. The vineyards are located on the south-easterly and south-westerly slopes of Montalcino, at altitudes between 250 and 400 meters, with soils composed of sandy loam, clay, and Galestro marl. The 2019 vintage benefited from warm days and cool breezes, contributing to the wine's structure. Approximately 35,000 bottles were produced.

The wine's full body and robust tannins are well-suited to complement the richness of red meats and game. The wine's inherent acidity helps to cut through fatty components, cleansing the palate, while its savory notes can echo herbs and earthy flavors in the dishes.

## Wine making process

The winemaking process for Talenti Brunello di Montalcino involves temperature-controlled maceration and alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 28-29°C. Following fermentation, the wine is aged for a minimum of 24 months in a mix of French oak tonneaux and large Slavonian oak barrels. After barrel aging, the wine undergoes several months of bottle aging before its release. The 2019 vintage benefited from favorable weather conditions during the growing season.
