## About this wine

Campo Luz Roble is a 100% Tempranillo red wine from the Ribera del Duero appellation in Spain, produced by Vinos de la Luz. This family winery, with a history dating back to 1910 in Argentina, brings a philosophy of tradition, precision, and boldness to its winemaking. The vineyards are located at high altitudes, between 750 and 900 meters, contributing to the wine's character. The producer has established a presence in other renowned wine regions, including Tuscany and California.

## Interesting facts

- Vineyards are situated between 750 and 900 meters above sea level.
- The producer's winemaking philosophy is inspired by dance.
- The 2023 vintage received a Bronze at the Decanter World Wide Awards.

## Food pairing

The wine's full body and tannins are well-suited to complement the richness and protein of red meats, while its fruit and spice notes can harmonize with herbs and savory elements in dishes. The acidity helps to cut through fattier components, cleansing the palate.

## Wine making process

The winemaking process for Campo Luz Roble begins with a three-day cold maceration, followed by seven to ten days of alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation also takes place in these tanks. The wine then undergoes nine months of aging in 225-liter French barriques, with 30% of the barrels being new. Grapes are hand-harvested.
