## About this wine

Weingut Claus Preisinger is located in Gols, Burgenland, near the northern shores of Lake Neusiedl in eastern Austria. Claus Preisinger began making wines on his family's estate in 2002 and transitioned all vineyards to biodynamic farming in 2006, becoming a founding member of the respekt-BIODYN group. Rózsa Libre! was created as the refreshing rosé sibling to his popular red cuvée Puszta Libre!, named in honor of the Puszta plains extending into nearby Hungary. Distinctively packaged in an elongated Alsace-style flute bottle with a high neck label, the design pays tribute to Preisinger's father who traditionally bottled his wines in this exact format.

## Interesting facts

- Bottled in a tall flute bottle with a neck label as a tribute to Claus Preisinger's father's original wine packaging.

## Food pairing

The vibrant, high acidity and bone-dry profile of this light natural rosé cut cleanly through soft cheeses and creamy elements, while bright berry and citrus nuances complement delicate proteins like poultry, fish, and fresh summer salads without masking their flavor.

## Wine making process

Hand-harvested from certified biodynamic estate parcels grown on limestone, sandy loam, and gravel soils. The fruit undergoes gentle direct pressing with short skin contact to capture a delicate pink hue. Spontaneous fermentation occurs with ambient yeasts in stainless steel vats without temperature manipulation or additions. The wine ages for 5 months on fine lees in stainless steel to retain purity and freshness, with malolactic fermentation intentionally blocked. It is bottled unfined and unfiltered with no or minimal added sulfur.
