## About this wine

Le Quattro Volte was established in 2019 in San Marco Argentano, Calabria, by Daniela De Marco, Giampiero Ventura, Emilio Di Cianni, and acclaimed Italian singer-songwriter Dario Brunori. The winery takes its name from both its four founding partners and Michelangelo Frammartino's award-winning film filmed in the surrounding rural landscape. Nestled between Sila and Pollino National Parks, the estate is dedicated to biodiversity, organic viticulture, and reviving indigenous Calabrian grape varieties through low-intervention winemaking.

## Interesting facts

- Co-founded by famous Italian singer-songwriter Dario Brunori (Brunori Sas).
- Named after the acclaimed Italian art film 'Le Quattro Volte', shot in rural Calabria.
- Made via Ancestral Method without added yeasts, fining, or filtration.

## Food pairing

The high, vibrant acidity and fine bubbles easily slice through fried seafood textures, rich cured meats, and fresh cheeses. The mineral-driven citrus nuances seamlessly elevate light fish, summer vegetables, and fresh herbs.

## Wine making process

Crafted via the Ancestral Method (Metodo Ancestrale or Pet-Nat), grapes are hand-harvested early in small crates to preserve high natural acidity. Spontaneous fermentation begins in stainless steel tanks with native yeasts. Before fermentation fully finishes, the wine is bottled unfiltered and unfined without added sugars or commercial yeasts, allowing fermentation to conclude naturally in the bottle and creating fine effervescence.
