## About this wine

Djuce was founded in Stockholm, Sweden in 2022 by Pontus Lindqvist and Victor Köhler with a mission to make premium European natural wine accessible, portable, and environmentally conscious. By partnering directly with organic, sustainable growers across Europe, Djuce packages authentic small-batch wines in recyclable aluminum cans. This permanent Core release is sourced from organically farmed, sun-exposed hillside vineyards in the Abruzzo region of Central Italy.

## Interesting facts

- Aluminum cans reduce packaging transport carbon emissions by nearly 79% compared to glass bottles.
- Features distinct single-serve packaging styled with artwork by Stockholm artist Johan Alenius.
- Djuce sources exclusively organic and naturally produced wines from independent European growers.

## Food pairing

Light-bodied with vibrant, high acidity, this fresh white acts as a palate cleanser. It seamlessly cuts through rich goat cheeses and highlights delicate marine flavors in fresh seafood and shellfish without overpowering subtle ingredients.

## Wine making process

Harvested from organic hillside vineyards grown on clay, limestone, and gravelly soils in Abruzzo. The grapes undergo temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel vats using indigenous yeasts to preserve vibrant fruit expression and natural acidity. The wine remains unfiltered and spends a short aging period on fine lees in stainless steel with zero oak exposure before being canned with minimal added sulfites.
