## About this wine

Domaine Recerca was established in 2018 by Jessica Albero and Laurent Pujol in Vingrau, within the Roussillon region of southwestern France. The name Recerca translates to research in Catalan, reflecting the estate's experimental spirit and commitment to natural winemaking. The domain grew out of an earlier project, Zulu Vins, created in 2015. Today, Jessica and Laurent cultivate ancestral vineyards planted with old vines in the dry scrubland of Corbières Catalanes, celebrating the distinct micro-terroirs of Catalan soils.

## Interesting facts

- Recerca means research in Catalan, reflecting the estate's experimental spirit.

## Food pairing

The vibrant acidity, fresh citrus notes, and crisp mineral profile of this dry white wine require dishes with clean, delicate flavors. Fresh shellfish and tangy goat cheese highlight its minerality without overpowering the subtle fruit aromatics.

## Wine making process

Crafted using minimal intervention, the grapes are hand-harvested early to preserve natural acidity. In the cellar, whole bunches undergo direct pressing, followed by spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts in stainless steel tanks and fiberglass vats. The wine undergoes no fining or filtration, and no sulfites are added throughout winemaking, resulting in a pure expression of the fruit.
