## About this wine

Succés Vinícola was founded in 2011 by Mariona Vendrell and Albert Canela in Catalonia's Conca de Barberà DO when they were just 20 years old. The project centers on organic farming, minimal intervention, and highlighting regional grape varieties. Named 'Feedback,' this wine commemorates the passionate debates between the founders while developing the blend. It also fulfills a dream of Albert's vine-grower father to craft a structured, age-worthy red wine from his high-elevation Cabernet Sauvignon vines.

## Food pairing

The wine's rich tannins and crisp acidity require hearty proteins and savory richness. The structural depth easily cuts through fatty meats like lamb and duck, while peppery background notes complement cured meats, aged cheeses, and wild mushrooms.

## Wine making process

Sourced from organically farmed Cabernet Sauvignon planted at 700 meters altitude and old-vine Trepat at 400–450 meters altitude on clay-limestone soils. The hand-harvested grapes undergo spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks, where both varieties co-ferment for 20 to 25 days. Following natural malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged for approximately 14 months in large French oak casks before being bottled unfined, unfiltered, and with minimal added sulfur.
