## About this wine

Feudi Aragonesi Rosso is crafted by Cantina Madonna dei Miracoli (Vini Casalbordino), a cooperative established in 1960 in Chieti, Abruzzo. Bringing together over 650 local winegrowers farming near the Adriatic coast, the winery created the Feudi Aragonesi line to honor the region's historical Aragonese heritage. This approachable Italian red reflects the traditional viticultural landscape of rolling coastal hills in Terre d'Abruzzo.

## Food pairing

This fresh, medium-bodied red wine features vibrant fruit expression, soft tannins, and moderate acidity, making it highly versatile for everyday dining. It pairs seamlessly with acidic tomato sauces, light meats, and savory fresh cheeses where the fruit balances rich or tangy flavors without overwhelming the food.

## Wine making process

The wine is a blend of Montepulciano, Sangiovese, and Merlot grown on clayish soils at 150-200 meters elevation. Sangiovese is harvested in mid-September, followed by Montepulciano in early October. Destemming is followed by 4 to 5 days of maceration at 30°C with automated cap punching-down in stainless steel fermenters. The wine undergoes 4 months of maturation in stainless steel tanks, followed by 2 months in the bottle prior to release, preserving fresh fruit character without oak influence.
