## About this wine

Azienda Agricola Foradori is situated on the Campo Rotaliano plain in Trentino. Taking over in 1984 at age 19, Elisabetta Foradori restored the genetic diversity of the indigenous Teroldego grape through extensive mass-selection research. Today, the estate is farmed biodynamically by Elisabetta and her children Emilio, Theo, and Myrtha Zierock, producing pure, terroir-driven Alpine wines.

## Interesting facts

- Elisabetta Foradori took over at age 19 and rescued the native Teroldego grape from genetic erosion.
- Teroldego is an ancient Alpine variety genetically related to Syrah and Dureza.
- The estate transitioned completely to certified biodynamic agriculture in 2002.

## Food pairing

The vibrant Alpine acidity and fine-grained tannins of Teroldego cut through rich meats and earthy mushroom sauces, while beautifully accentuating savory cured meats and hard cheeses.

## Wine making process

Harvested from estate-owned plots in Mezzolombardo featuring alluvial sandy gravel soils. Fermentation occurs spontaneously with indigenous yeasts in open cement tanks with skin contact. The wine ages for 12 months in large neutral oak casks (botte grande) and cement tanks before bottling, preserving varietal purity and fresh acidity without oak dominance.
