## About this wine

Fruit Loops White is an artisanal natural wine created by Weingut Claus Preisinger, located in Gols on the northeastern shore of Lake Neusiedl in Burgenland, Austria. Preisinger took over his family estate in 2002 and became the youngest winemaker admitted to the prestigious Pannobile association. He manages around 20 hectares of vineyards divided into more than 60 individual parcels, farmed strictly according to Demeter and Respekt-BIODYN standards. The playful name pays homage to the vibrant aromatic spectrum of the field blend while showcasing serious low-intervention skin-macerated viticulture.

## Interesting facts

- Claus Preisinger was the youngest winemaker ever accepted into the elite Pannobile producer collective.
- Fermentation and aging take place in traditional Georgian clay amphorae, concrete eggs, and large neutral wooden casks.
- Despite its playful cereal-inspired name, this wine represents serious biodynamic skin-contact winemaking.

## Food pairing

The light skin-contact phenolics and vibrant acidity pair exceptionally well with fresh, herb-forward Asian cuisine, roasted root vegetables, and tender poultry. The wine's subtle textural grip cuts through mild fats and rich sauces without masking delicate ingredients.

## Wine making process

Grapes are hand-harvested from biodynamic vineyard plots planted on limestone and coarse gravel soils at elevations between 140 and 200 meters. Spontaneous fermentation occurs with indigenous yeasts, accompanied by a light skin maceration lasting four to seven days. The wine is aged in a combination of Georgian terracotta amphorae, concrete eggs, and large neutral wooden casks. It is bottled unfined, unfiltered, and with minimal added sulfur dioxide.
