## About this wine

A collaboration between acclaimed winemaker Juan Antonio Ponce and the Parra family of Bodegas Parra Jiménez, created in partnership with importer T. Edward Wines. Produced in Cuenca, Castilla-La Mancha, this skin-contact cuvée was conceived to deliver a clean, vibrant, biodynamic orange wine in a friendly 1-liter format. The name plays on the English word 'gulpable' and the Spanish verb 'hablar' (to speak).

## Interesting facts

- The name 'Gulp Hablo' is a play on the English word 'gulpable' and the Spanish verb 'hablar' (to speak).
- Bottled exclusively in a 1.0-liter format designed for casual, everyday sharing.
- Combines ancient clay amphora maceration with organic and biodynamic high-altitude farming.

## Food pairing

The bright acidity and gentle phenolic tea-like texture of skin-contact orange wine cut seamlessly through rich, fried foods while beautifully standing up to complex aromatic spice, herb, and citrus components.

## Wine making process

Grapes are organically and biodynamically farmed at 900 meters elevation. The Sauvignon Blanc and Verdejo varieties undergo skin maceration separately for 5 to 7 days in 200L clay amphorae and 4,000L used French oak vats. Fermentation occurs with ambient yeasts in temperature-controlled stainless steel. After gentle pressing, the wine is aged in large wooden foudres for 8 months and bottled unfined and unfiltered with minimal sulfur.
