## About this wine

This wine is an exclusive private label partnership between Costco's Kirkland Signature and Ti Point Wines, led by winemaker Tracy Haslam. Ti Point was established in 1993 on the Matakana Coast by three generations of women in the Haslam family. Having expanded their reach to the premier cool-climate region of Marlborough, they focus on crafting an exceptionally refined, balanced, and modern style of Sauvignon Blanc. This collaboration brings estate-quality New Zealand winemaking to a global audience, sourcing fruit from some of Marlborough's oldest and most prestigious family-owned vineyards.

## Interesting facts

- This wine is a collaboration with Ti Point, a winery founded and run by three generations of women.
- Grapes are harvested exclusively at night to lock in natural acidity and preserve delicate, volatile aromatic compounds.
- It represents one of Costco's fastest-moving and highest-volume white wine allocations globally.

## Food pairing

The high acidity and vibrant citrus profile of this Sauvignon Blanc cut beautifully through rich, creamy textures like goat cheese, while complementing light, fresh seafood. Its herbaceous notes also pair wonderfully with green vegetables and aromatic herbs like cilantro and lemongrass.

## Wine making process

The winemaking process is designed to capture the vibrant, pure fruit expression of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. Grapes are harvested during the cool night hours to preserve delicate, volatile thiols and natural acidity. Upon arrival at the winery, the fruit is gently pressed and quickly clarified. Fermentation takes place entirely in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats using selected commercial yeast strains optimized to enhance intense herbaceous and tropical aromatics. The wine is aged briefly on its fine lees in stainless steel to integrate its crisp acidity and add subtle texture before bottling, with absolutely no oak contact.
