## About this wine

Fattoria La Valentina Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is a red wine from the Abruzzo region of Italy, produced by Fattoria La Valentina. The wine is made from 100% Montepulciano grapes, a deviation from the typical DOC regulations that allow for a small percentage of Sangiovese. The producer, established in 1990 by the Di Properzio brothers, is dedicated to producing authentic wines that reflect the unique terroir of Abruzzo. Their philosophy emphasizes minimal intervention and sustainable practices, with a commitment to organic farming and renewable energy. The vineyards are located in the Spoltore, San Valentino, and Scafa districts, with vines aged between 26 and 47 years old. The 2020 vintage is characterized by its dark fruit profile and spicy notes.

## Wine making process

The winemaking process for La Valentina Montepulciano d'Abruzzo involves fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks for approximately 10 days.
