## About this wine

Trediberri, located in La Morra, is a dynamic estate founded in 2007 by Nicola Oberto, his father Federico, and partner Torraldo. The name 'Trediberri' translates to 'the three of Berri', referencing the small hamlet of Berri in the westernmost part of La Morra where they acquired their first vineyards. Known for their artisanal yet precise approach, Trediberri focuses on producing wines of high drinkability, freshness, and balance, showcasing the cooler, elegant terroir of La Morra.

## Interesting facts

- The name Trediberri means 'the three of Berri', celebrating the three founders who started the winery in the hamlet of Berri.
- Unlike many Piedmont reds, this Langhe Nebbiolo is completely un-oaked, aged only in concrete and steel to preserve pure fruit.
- Founder Nicola Oberto famously left a career in finance to return to his family's winemaking roots in La Morra.

## Food pairing

The high acidity and structured tannins of Nebbiolo cut beautifully through rich, fatty meats and buttery pasta dishes. The wine's bright red fruit profile and earthy undertones harmonize perfectly with mushroom- and truffle-based dishes, while avoiding overly spicy foods prevents clashing with the wine's natural structure.

## Wine making process

The Langhe Nebbiolo is crafted to emphasize fresh fruit and immediate accessibility. Grapes are sourced from vineyards in La Morra and Vicoforte. Fermentation takes place in concrete and stainless steel tanks with skin contact for around 12 to 15 days. To preserve the vibrant primary fruit characteristics of the Nebbiolo grape, the wine is aged exclusively in concrete or stainless steel, completely avoiding oak contact before bottling.
