## About this wine

Vitícola Mentridana Las Uvas de la Ira is a 100% Garnacha from the Méntrida DO in Spain. Produced by Vitícola Mentridana, a project led by Curro Barreño, it builds upon the work of Dani Landi. The wine originates from old vines, averaging over 70 years, situated at elevations between 750 and 850 meters. These vineyards are planted in poor granitic soils. The project focuses on the Méntrida and Sierra de Gredos regions, emphasizing low-intervention winemaking and respect for the terroir. The name 'Las Uvas de la Ira' translates to 'The Grapes of Wrath,' reflecting the wine's character. The grapes are sourced from six vineyard plots in El Real de San Vicente.
