## Food pairing

The wine's vibrant acidity and medium-plus body make it versatile. Its acidity cuts through the richness of fatty meats and creamy sauces, while its fruit-forward character complements tomato-based dishes and earthy flavors like mushrooms. The moderate tannins provide a good counterpoint to protein.

## Wine making process

The winemaking process for Lodali Barbera d'Alba begins with hand-harvested grapes from the producer's vineyards. The grapes undergo soft pressing, followed by maceration at controlled temperatures for approximately 15-20 days. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel or concrete tanks. Following fermentation, the wine is aged for 3 months in concrete tanks and then spends an additional 3 months aging in the bottle before release.
