## About this wine

First crafted in 2013 by Stolpman Vineyards in Santa Barbara County, Love You Bunches was created to showcase a fresh, vibrant, and chillable expression of Sangiovese. Sourced primarily from limestone-rich soils in Ballard Canyon and Happy Canyon AVAs, this low-intervention cuvée belongs to the estate's 'So Fresh' initiative. The whimsical label was hand-lettered by vineyard manager Ruben Solorzano, honoring the extra care needed to harvest every cluster intact.

## Interesting facts

- The name 'Love You Bunches' is a pun created after a 2016 wedding, referencing the intact grape clusters required for harvest.
- The wine's handwritten label is penned directly by Stolpman's vineyard manager, Ruben Solorzano, known as 'El Padrino'.
- Made via 100% whole-cluster carbonic fermentation to soften Sangiovese's naturally firm tannins and bright acidity.

## Food pairing

The crunchy acidity, soft tannins, and vibrant red fruit character of this chilled carbonic Sangiovese make it remarkably versatile. It cuts through the fat of cured meats and roasted poultry while harmonizing effortlessly with tomato-based dishes and light grilled meats.

## Wine making process

The grapes undergo 100% whole-cluster, uncrushed native carbonic fermentation in sealed round tanks and trans-store tanks under a carbon dioxide atmosphere for one to three weeks. Following fermentation, the wine is aged for 5 months in neutral French Ermitage 500L puncheons before early bottling to capture maximum freshness and primary fruit character with minimal sulfur additions.
