## About this wine

Marthe Henry Boillot, a former Paris journalist, returned to Meursault in 2013 to embrace her family's winemaking legacy. She is the granddaughter of Pierre Boillot, a legendary local vigneron. After studying in Beaune and training with respected producers, she established her micro-négoce in 2017, working out of her grandfather's historical cellars. The Les Grandes Gouttes bottling comes from a single organically farmed parcel situated right on the southern border of Meursault next to Puligny-Montrachet, planted with 50-year-old vines.

## Wine making process

Grapes are harvested by hand and gently pressed with a pneumatic press, followed by a short static settling. Fermentation occurs naturally with indigenous yeasts, without added sulfur dioxide during vinification or aging. The wine matures on fine lees for 18 months in neutral French oak barrels without racking or oak influence. It is bottled following a gentle filtration with minimal sulfur added.
