## About this wine

Milan Nestarec Postmoderna is a natural red wine crafted in the Moravia region of the Czech Republic. Grown across certified organic estate plots in the villages of Moravský Žižkov and Velké Bílovice, this wine represents a personal journey for Nestarec. Utilizing a perpetual solera blend of multiple harvests, Nestarec aims to showcase a harmonious, friendly, and approachable expression of Blaufränkisch rather than a single site or vintage.

## Interesting facts

- Each bottle features artwork hand-sprayed directly onto the glass by Milan Nestarec and his cellar crew.
- Subtitled Le Grand Carambolage, inspired by an 80s French art exhibition catalog about creative effervescence.
- Production is strictly limited to approximately 3,200 bottles per solera release run.

## Food pairing

The lively Moravian acidity and bright fruit of Blaufränkisch slice cleanly through rich pork and duck fats, while its soft tannins complement mushrooms and charcuterie without overpowering delicate savory elements.

## Wine making process

Spontaneously fermented with native yeasts in open-top vats using delicate punch-downs, Postmoderna is created using a perpetual solera system combining barrels across multiple vintages. The wine ages in neutral used 225-liter barriques and 400-liter oak barrels. It is bottled unfined and unfiltered with zero or minimal added sulfur, resulting in a pure, low-intervention expression.
