## About this wine

Viña Echeverría is a family-owned estate with roots in Chilean agriculture since 1740, establishing their winery in Molina, Curicó Valley in 1923. 'No Es Pituko' is a Chilean slang expression meaning 'it ain't fancy' or 'not snobbish,' representing a low-intervention project created by chief winemaker Roberto Echeverría Jr. The range highlights unadulterated varietal expression from ungrafted pre-phylloxera vines grown on alluvial soils in the Central Valley.

## Interesting facts

- 'No Es Pituko' is Chilean slang translating to 'it ain't fancy,' highlighting its unpretentious natural style.
- Sourced from ungrafted, pre-phylloxera French rootstock clones in Molina, Curicó Valley.
- Bottled unfiltered, unfined, and with zero added sulfites for a natural wine expression.

## Food pairing

This natural Chardonnay's vibrant acidity and rich texture balance both delicate seafood and moderately rich dishes. The natural acidity cuts through creamy sauces and soft cheeses, while its textured mid-palate complements lean poultry and white fish without overwhelming them.

## Wine making process

The Chardonnay grapes are hand-picked in small crates and cold decanted at 8°C for 24 hours. Fermentation occurs spontaneously using ambient indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures between 13-17°C for around 25 days. The wine is kept on its fine lees in stainless steel without oak contact or malo-lactic manipulation. Bottled without added sulfites, fining, or filtration to preserve its natural texture and purity.
