Madame Flöck Wines was founded by American winemaker Robert Kane and Canadian Derek-Paul Labelle, who met during harvest in Australia. Located in the Terrassenmosel region of Germany, the boutique winery was named in honor of Frau Flöck, a local resident who leased them their first neglected vineyard terrace. The winemakers focus on rescuing and hand-farming steep-sloped, abandoned terraces along the Mosel river. P.M.V. stands for 'Positive Mental Vibes' and represents a unique red field blend from a region predominantly known for white Riesling.

## Wine making process

The 2022 P.M.V. Red is crafted from a field blend of Pinot Noir and Regent harvested by hand from steep blue-gray slate terraces. Fermentation occurs spontaneously with wild yeasts utilizing 100% whole-berry and whole-cluster skin contact for approximately 14 days. The wine is aged in a combination of 60% stainless steel tanks and 40% mature French oak barrels. It is bottled unfined and unfiltered without any added sulfur dioxide.
