## About this wine

Pink Pull is an innovative rosé produced by Ktima Karipidis, located in the historic region of Krannonas in Thessaly, Greece. The Karipidis family, renowned for pioneering international varieties in this microclimate, crafts this unique wine entirely from Sangiovese. By treating this classic Italian red grape with the delicate touch of white winemaking, they achieve a pale, elegant expression that challenges traditional rosé boundaries. The estate's commitment to modern viticulture shines through in this contemporary, food-friendly bottling.

## Interesting facts

- Made from 100% Sangiovese, an Italian grape variety that has found an unexpected and highly successful home in Thessaly, Greece.
- Vinified using white winemaking techniques, resulting in an ultra-pale color and exceptional aromatic finesse.
- The Karipidis Estate is located in Krannonas, an ancient region in Greece known since antiquity for its agricultural fertility.

## Food pairing

This delicate Sangiovese rosé pairs beautifully with light, high-acid dishes. Its crisp acidity cuts through the oiliness of seafood and complements fresh cheeses, while its subtle red fruit notes harmonize with summer salads and cured meats without overpowering them.

## Wine making process

The Sangiovese grapes are harvested early to preserve vibrant acidity. Upon arrival at the winery, the grapes undergo extremely gentle pressing with minimal skin contact to extract only a delicate pink hue. The juice is vinified at low temperatures in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, mimicking white winemaking techniques to preserve fresh primary fruit aromas and crispness. The wine is aged briefly on its fine lees before bottling to add subtle texture.
