This wine hails from the esteemed Puligny-Montrachet appellation in the Côte de Beaune, a region celebrated for its Chardonnay. - Louis Jadot controls 270 hectares of vineyards across Burgundy.
- The 2022 vintage saw significant rain in June, aiding vines through summer heat.

## Food pairing

The wine's lively acidity cuts through the richness of buttery or creamy sauces, while its body complements the texture of seafood and poultry. Mineral notes in the wine can echo the subtle flavors of the sea or earth.

## Wine making process

The winemaking process for this Puligny-Montrachet begins with hand-harvested Chardonnay grapes, transported in small crates. The grapes undergo gentle pressing before fermentation in oak barrels, with approximately one-third of the barrels being new. Malolactic fermentation is carefully controlled. Following fermentation, the wine is aged for 12 to 15 months (or 15-18 months) in French oak barrels, maturing on its fine lees. Louis Jadot is also engaged in organic conversion for its Domaine vineyards.
