## Food pairing

The wine's vibrant acidity and firm tannins are well-suited to cut through the richness of red meats and fatty dishes, while its savory notes complement tomato-based sauces and earthy ingredients. The wine's fruit profile can also bridge with slightly sweet elements in dishes.

## Wine making process

Querciabella Chianti Classico 2018 is produced from 100% Sangiovese grapes. The grapes are destemmed but not crushed, then fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. The wine undergoes full malolactic fermentation. It is aged for up to 14 months in French oak barrels, with 5% new oak and the rest being second and third-fill. The wine is then aged for at least three months in bottle before release. The vineyards are farmed using biodynamic and organic practices.
