## About this wine

Bistro Louis Séverine is a collaborative natural wine project created by Séverine Perru, former head sommelier at New York's The Ten Bells, and Louis Broderick, winemaker from Basket Range Wine in South Australia. Operating out of Alsace, France, the duo produces low-intervention micro-cuvées in partnership with acclaimed local natural producers. Reach is an expressive co-fermented blend of red and aromatic white grapes born from vineyards in Mittelbergheim and Mutzig.

## Interesting facts

- Founded by former NYC head sommelier Séverine Perru and Australian winemaker Louis Broderick.
- Vinified in the cellar of legendary Alsace natural winemaker Jean-Pierre Rietsch.
- Co-ferments red Pinot Noir with highly aromatic Gewürztraminer.

## Food pairing

This light-bodied red blend pairs crisp acidity and delicate tannins with fragrant fruit and floral notes. It excels alongside duck, pork, and charcuterie, balancing savory fats without overwhelming delicate meats.

## Wine making process

Hand-harvested grapes undergo 100% whole-bunch maceration for seven days with Pinot Noir and Gewürztraminer macerated separately. Fermentation occurs spontaneously with natural yeasts before blending. Vinified without added sulfites, unfined, and unfiltered, the wine ages entirely in stainless steel vats to retain vivid fruit freshness and high aromatic intensity.
