## About this wine

Roberto Henríquez studied agronomy and enology at the University of Concepción before gaining international experience in Canada, South Africa, and France's Loire Valley. Returning to Southern Chile, he established his estate to preserve ancestral, ungrafted vines ranging from 100 to over 250 years old in the Itata Valley. Rivera del Notro Orange Wine is crafted from centenarian dry-farmed bush vines planted in deep granitic soils with quartz, representing a dedicated revival of traditional Chilean winemaking heritage.

## Wine making process

The grapes are hand-harvested from ancient bush vines, fully destemmed, and spontaneously co-fermented with native yeasts in open Raúlí vats (native Chilean beechwood) and concrete tanks. The wine undergoes 15 days of skin contact with daily manual punch-downs. Aging occurs over 11 to 17 months in a combination of concrete, stainless steel, and neutral wooden casks. It is bottled unfined and unfiltered with minimal sulfur additions.
