## About this wine

Rosha Winery is located in Kakheti, Eastern Georgia, dedicated to honoring Georgia's ancient winemaking heritage. Sourced from 50-year-old vines in the Kvareli micro-zone near the foothills of the Caucasus Mountains, this bottling celebrates the indigenous Rkatsiteli grape. The name 'Anthos' derives from the Greek word for flower, honoring the floral heritage of the vineyard site.

## Interesting facts

- The cuvee name 'Anthos' stems from the Greek word for flower, reflecting the vineyard's floral characteristics.

- Crafted from old vines over 50 years of age located in the Kvareli micro-zone near the Caucasus Mountains.

## Food pairing

The unique skin-maceration provides light structural tannins and lively acidity, allowing this wine to pair exceptionally well with rich poultry, pork, roasted root vegetables, and melted cheeses.

## Wine making process

Hand-harvested Rkatsiteli grapes undergo extended skin-contact maceration for up to five months in subterranean clay Qvevri buried underground. Fermentation occurs spontaneously using only native wild airborne yeasts at natural subterranean temperatures. The wine is racked without temperature regulation, unfined and unfiltered, with only minimal sulfur added at bottling.
