## Wine making process

The Silverboom Special Reserve Chardonnay 2022 begins with de-stemmed and carefully pressed grapes. The must undergoes an overnight rest before fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled low temperature of around 18 degrees Celsius for 3-4 weeks. Following fermentation, the wine is aged for 5 months in French oak barrels. Grapes are harvested in the early morning hours in mid-February from vines grown in well-drained fields characterized by slate and granite soils.
