## About this wine

Founded in 2008 by winemaker and artisan négociant Antony Tortul in Montagnac, La Sorga is a cult natural wine producer in Languedoc-Roussillon. Tortul sources organically and biodynamically farmed fruit from old vines across the Hérault Valley and Aude departments. The Sorgasme DE LUXE is a special reserve variation of La Sorga's signature field blend, crafted from ancient white grape varieties grown in diverse soils ranging from limestone-clay to schist and basaltic sand.

## Interesting facts

- Crafted by cult natural winemaker Antony Tortul in the Languedoc region.
- Bottled unfined and unfiltered with zero added sulfites.
- Features extended skin contact from old vines up to 100 years old.

## Food pairing

The tactile polyphenolic tannins, vibrant acidity, and intense aromatics of this natural orange wine require dishes with sufficient fat, spice, or savoriness. It effortlessly cuts through rich meats like duck or pork belly and stands up to aromatic spices and aged cheeses.

## Wine making process

The grapes are hand-harvested from organic and biodynamic plots and co-fermented as a field blend with native yeasts. The DE LUXE cuvée undergoes extended skin-contact maceration to extract deep color, polyphenolic structure, and complex aromatics. Made following a strict 'zero-zero' natural philosophy, the wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered without any added sulfites, temperature control manipulations, or additives.
