## About this wine

Superbloom Rosé is created by Las Jaras Wines, a California boutique winery co-founded by winemaker Joel Burt and comedian Eric Wareheim. The winery's name is inspired by the Spanish lotería game card 'Las Jaras', which translates to 'The Arrows'. Superbloom is named after the rare and sudden bloom of California desert wildflowers following winter rains. Fruit for this cuvée is sourced from organic and regeneratively farmed sites in Lodi and Mendocino County, including historic plantings.

## Interesting facts

- Co-founded by comedian Eric Wareheim and winemaker Joel Burt.
- Named after California's vibrant post-rain desert wildflower blooms.
- Zero added sulfur (Zero-Zero) and entirely native fermentation.
- Features unique front label artwork designed by artist Jade Roche.

## Food pairing

The lively acidity and vibrant profile of this natural rosé cut through salty, rich, or mildly spicy components easily. High acidity refreshes the palate against creamy cheeses or grilled seafood, while the slight texture handles light proteins without overpowering subtle herbal flavors.

## Wine making process

Crafted as a co-ferment of red and white grape varieties. A portion undergoes 10 days of cold carbonic maceration while other lots utilize a reverse saignée technique. Fermentation occurs completely naturally with native yeasts and zero additions or adjustments. The wine matures in stainless steel tanks for five months before being bottled unfined, unfiltered, and without added sulfur (Zero-Zero).
