Azienda Agricola Ananda was established in 2016 by winemaker Edoardo Sacchetto in the volcanic Colli Euganei region of Veneto, Italy. The estate's name derives from the Sanskrit word for inner bliss, reflecting Sacchetto's philosophical approach to viticulture. Before creating his own estate, Sacchetto trained alongside natural winemakers in France's Rhône Valley and Alsace. The Syrius cuvée is rooted in historic parcels featuring old vines aged between 50 and 120 years, leased from local long-standing grape growers.

The light-to-medium weight combined with subtle skin-contact tannins and vibrant volcanic acidity makes this orange wine exceptionally versatile. ## Wine making process

Farmed according to organic and biodynamic principles on mixed volcanic basalt and clay-limestone soils, the grapes are harvested by hand. In the cellar, the grapes are 100% destemmed and undergo a 10-day co-maceration on the skins in stainless steel tanks. Fermentation occurs spontaneously with indigenous wild yeasts without artificial inputs. The wine is aged entirely in stainless steel, bottled unfined and unfiltered, and made with zero added sulfur dioxide.
