## About this wine

The Tesoro Chardonnay is a white wine produced by Bodegas Trapiche in Mendoza, Argentina. Established in 1883, Bodegas Trapiche is a leading Argentine winery recognized for its commitment to quality and innovation. ## Food pairing

The wine's medium-full body and creamy texture complement rich dishes. Its refreshing acidity cuts through the richness of creamy sauces and fatty proteins, while notes of fruit and subtle oak can harmonize with roasted poultry and pork.

## Wine making process

The Tesoro Chardonnay is produced using 100% Chardonnay grapes from Mendoza. After pressing, the must is chilled to 10 degrees Celsius before undergoing fermentation for 28 days at 15-17 degrees Celsius in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. A portion of the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation to enhance creaminess. The wine is subsequently aged for nine months in oak barrels, with some sources suggesting up to 12 months, contributing to its complexity and texture.
