## About this wine

Turley Wine Cellars was founded in 1993 by Larry Turley, renowned for finding, preserving, and restoring historic old-vine Zinfandel vineyards throughout California using organic farming and minimal intervention. This rosé was conceived by Larry's daughter, Christina Turley, while working as a sommelier in New York City. Her vision was to redeem the reputation of White Zinfandel by creating a serious, dry, high-acid, food-friendly rosé in the Provençal style.

## Interesting facts

- Conceived by Christina Turley to elevate White Zinfandel, earning her spots on Forbes 30 Under 30 and Wine Enthusiast 40 Under 40.
- Grapes are picked exceptionally early at 19° Brix to maintain vibrant natural acidity and keep alcohol low.
- Fermented with native yeasts and aged in neutral French oak, bottled completely unfined and unfiltered.

## Food pairing

The vibrant natural acidity and bone-dry profile cut cleanly through rich fats in pork, chicken, and shellfish, while lighter citrus and herbal accents align effortlessly with fresh salads and savory tapas.

## Wine making process

Grapes are hand-harvested early at approximately 19° Brix to capture bright natural acidity and maintain low potential alcohol. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks using 100% native wild yeasts. The wine is then aged for 7 months in 100% neutral French oak barriques before being bottled unfined and unfiltered.
