## About this wine

Two Wolves is an estate winery in Santa Barbara County's Santa Ynez Valley, founded by singer-songwriter Alecia Moore (P!nk) and her husband Carey Hart. Inspired by a life-changing visit to Loire Valley icon Clos Rougeard, Moore earned formal viticultural and enological credentials before establishing her hands-on organic estate. The Cabernet Franc is grown on 1.89 acres of Chamise Shaley Loam soils, benefitting from the cool coastal breezes and prolonged growing seasons characteristic of Santa Barbara County.

## Interesting facts

- Founded by singer-songwriter P!nk (Alecia Moore), who earned formal WSET wine qualifications before starting the estate.
- Named after a Cherokee parable about the internal struggle between positive and destructive forces within human nature.
- Inspired directly by a visit to the legendary Loire Valley producer Clos Rougeard.

## Food pairing

Cabernet Franc's vibrant acidity, structured medium-plus tannins, and classic herbal nuance make it a versatile food wine. It cuts through rich, savory animal fats like pork, lamb, and duck while complementing wood-fired textures, roasted nightshades, and fresh green herbs.

## Wine making process

Farmed under certified organic practices, the grapes are harvested by hand and fermented using 100% native yeasts. Vinification takes place in a combination of concrete tanks and open-top fermenters, utilizing partial whole-cluster inclusion to build aromatic complexity and structural backbone. The wine is aged in French oak barrels, balancing a mix of neutral and new oak, before being bottled with minimal intervention.
