## About this wine

Unturned Stone The Rhythm Section is crafted by winemakers Erin Mitchell and Randy Czech as part of their Allegory Series. Sourced from George Ricetti's Castañon Vineyard in Redwood Valley within Mendocino County, the wine is rooted in heritage vines planted in the 1960s. Designed as a fresh, approachable vin de soif, this cuvée offers an everyday Californian table wine full of character and historic terroir.

## Interesting facts

- Sourced from Castañon Vineyard in Redwood Valley, where Carignan and Zinfandel vines were planted in the 1960s.
- Part of the winery's Allegory Series, created as fresh, easy-drinking vin de soif table wines.
- The winemakers rely on taste and experience rather than lab numbers to guide their natural winemaking.

## Food pairing

The vibrant acidity and juicy red fruit profile of this old-vine blend effortlessly cut through rich cured meats and pork while seamlessly complementing roasted poultry and tomato-based dishes without dominating delicate flavors.

## Wine making process

Organically farmed Carignan and Zinfandel grapes undergo spontaneous wild yeast fermentation following a strictly natural, non-interventionist winemaking philosophy. The wine is aged in neutral barrels and stainless steel to preserve its bright acidity and fresh red fruit character. Bottled unfined and unfiltered, it receives only a minimal sulfur addition totaling 30 ppm.
