## About this wine

Domaine Le Gallais was acquired by Egon Müller in 1954. Located in Wiltingen along the Saar river in Mosel, Germany, the estate's single vineyard monopoly, Wiltinger Braune Kupp, features steep iron-rich red and brown slate soils. Though bottled under the historical Le Gallais label, all viticulture and cellar management are carried out entirely by Egon Müller IV and his winemaking team at Scharzhof.

## Interesting facts

- Domaine Le Gallais has been owned and fully managed by Egon Müller since 1954.
- The vineyard name Braune Kupp refers to its distinctive brown, iron-infused slate soils.
- Wiltinger Braune Kupp is a monopole vineyard site exclusively farmed by the estate.

## Food pairing

The electric acidity and subtle off-dry sweetness make this Kabinett Riesling an ideal partner for vibrant Southeast Asian spices, slicing through richness while taming chili heat. Fresh seafood and creamy goat cheeses highlight the wine's citrus energy and stone fruit elegance.

## Wine making process

Grapes are hand-harvested from steep hillside vines with rigorous selective sorting. Fermentation occurs spontaneously using ambient yeast in traditional neutral oak casks (Fuder) with natural temperature control. The wine ages in neutral oak Fuder casks prior to bottling to preserve pure varietal expression and precise mineral elegance.
