## About this wine

Spinning Wheel Wine is a micro-négociant project founded in 2022 by Perry Conner, Peter Szilagyi, and Alyssa Anderson. Based in the Mid-Atlantic, the producers focus on celebrating regional terroir through low-intervention methods and native or hybrid grape varieties. Wolf Sisters highlights the native red Muscadine grape, showcasing non-traditional American viticulture and local heritage.

## Interesting facts

- Made from 100% Noble, a native American Muscadine grape variety (Vitis rotundifolia).
- Naturally low in alcohol at just 8.9% ABV, making it ideal served slightly chilled.
- Created by a trio of young wine, enology, and cidermaking professionals founded in 2022.

## Food pairing

This high-acid, light-bodied red wine shines when served slightly chilled alongside savory charcuterie, soft cheeses, and light meats. Its vibrant acidity easily cuts through fat without overpowering delicate flavors.

## Wine making process

Grapes are sourced from clay soils in Pittsylvania County and Purcellville, Virginia. The wine undergoes natural fermentation with indigenous yeasts at Rocklands Farm Winery in Maryland. Aged in neutral vessels to preserve vibrant primary fruit and crisp natural acidity, it is bottled unfined and unfiltered with minimal sulfur additions.
