## About this wine

The Zardetto family winemaking roots date back to 1917, with formal establishment in 1969 when Pino Zardetto became a pioneer in exporting Prosecco internationally. Based in the rolling hills of Veneto, Zardetto combines historic hillside viticulture with modern enological techniques. The Z line represents a vibrant lifestyle design featuring a dual-layered peel-away label created by Robilant Associati that reveals hidden artwork and Italian phrases celebrating la dolce vita.

## Interesting facts

- Features an interactive peel-away label revealing hidden artwork and humorous Italian phrases.
- Pino Zardetto was one of the first pioneers to introduce Prosecco to global markets outside of Italy.
- The letter Z represents the winery motto that this bottle changes the game rather than following standard rules.

## Food pairing

The high acidity and fine carbonation effectively cut through fried textures and salty cured meats, while the delicate off-dry residual sugar harmonizes with subtle Asian spice and enhances raw seafood sweetness.

## Wine making process

Grapes are hand-harvested from steep hillside vineyards in Veneto. Upon arrival at the winery, the fruit is chilled and gently soft-pressed, followed by a short skin maceration. Primary fermentation occurs in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine undergoes secondary fermentation in large pressurized stainless steel autoclavi using the Charmat method for 40 days to preserve fresh fruit aromas and develop a refined mousse.
